Apple Caramel Chocolate Bark

An easy no-bake dessert to make at home. It’s also a great hostess gift during the holidays!

Ingredients:

  • semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • pretzels
  • green apple
  • caramel sauce
  • lemon

Step 1: Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish for 45 second sessions until melted. Just stir between sessions. While the chocolate is melting in the microwave, cut the apples into bite size pieces. Toss the apples in a 1 tsp of lemon juice to prevent the apples from browning.*Caution-chocolate will be hot when removing from microwave and stirring.

Step 2: After removing melted chocolate from the microwave, pour the melted chocolate chips onto a baking sheet. Use a spoon or spatula to swirl the chocolate around until it is evenly dispersed on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the cut apples, pretzels and caramel on top of the chocolate. Then place the entire pan in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes or until hardened. Break the chocolate into pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 1 week.*Caution-chocolate will be hot when removing from microwave and pouring onto baking sheet.
