Apple Caramel Chocolate Bark
An easy no-bake dessert to make at home. It's also a great hostess gift during the holidays!

Ingredients

  • 24 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of pretzels
  • 1-2 green apple diced
  • 2 Tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish for 45 second sessions until melted. Just stir between sessions. *Caution-chocolate will be hot when removing from microwave and stirring.
  • While chocolate is melting in the microwave, cut apples into bite size pieces. *Toss the apples in a 1 tsp of lemon juice to prevent the apples from browning.
  • After removing melted chocolate from the microwave, pour the melted chocolate chips onto a baking sheet. Use a spoon or spatula to swirl the chocolate around until it is evenly dispersed on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the apples, pretzels and caramel on top of the chocolate.
  • Then place the entire pan in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes or until hardened.*Caution-chocolate will be hot when removing from microwave and pouring onto baking sheet.
  • Break the chocolate into pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 1 week.

Try using different kinds of chocolate:
  • Milk Chocolate
  • White Chocolate
  • Dark Chocolate
Change up the Toppings:
  • Pistachios and edible food grade rose petals
  • Almonds and cranberries
  • Chopped up candy canes
  • Pretzels and peanuts
  • Yogurt covered blueberries
  • Dark chocolate and orange zest
