Caramel Apple Bark

This easy Caramel Apple Bark combines, rich chocolate, tart green apples, crunchy pretzels, and caramel for a sweet and salty fall treat. No baking required – just melt. sprinkle, chill and break it into pieces.

It has all the caramel apple flavor without standing around dipping apples into sticks like we’re running the concession stand at the country fair.

Ingredients:

  • 24 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of pretzels
  • 1-2 green apples diced
  • 2-3 Tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp of lemon

Step-by-Step Directions:

Step 1: Microwave the chocolate in 45 second intervals, stirring well between each, until melted and smooth.

Step 2: While the chocolate is melting in the microwave, cut the apples into bite size pieces. Toss the apples in a tsp of lemon juice to prevent the apples from browning.

Step 3: Remove the melted chocolate from the microwave and pour onto a baking sheet. Use a spoon or spatula to swirl the chocolate around until it is evenly dispersed on the baking sheet.

Step 4: Sprinkle the cut apples, pretzels and caramel on top of the chocolate. Then place the entire pan in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes or until hardened.

Step 5: Break the chocolate into pieces and serve immediately.
