Step 1: Select three distinct food colors. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir them together until they’re fully combined, using a wooden spoon. This process should take about 3-5 minutes. Once the marshmallows are melted and combined, set aside the mixture.

Step 2: Pour half a cup of the marshmallow mixture into a large bowl. Add one of the food dyes to the bowl and mix it into the marshmallow mixture until it’s well combined.

Step 3: Add 2 cups of crispy rice cereal to the dyed marshmallow mixture. Use a wooden spoon to mix the cereal and marshmallow mixture together.

Step 4: Spray the gloves with cooking spray to prevent them from sticking to the crispy rice cereal mixture in the next step. Use gloved hands and form equal-sized crispy rice balls.

Step 5: Place crispy rice balls on a lined baking sheet and press the sugar eye into them.

Step 6: Repeat Steps 3-7 for each different color. Change gloves between each repeated step to avoid color mixing. Once Creepy Crispy Eyeball Treats have set, they are ready to serve. Enjoy!
