Step 2: Divide the melted marshmallow mixture evenly among three bowls. Add a different food coloring to each bowl and stir until you reach your desired colors.

Step 3: Add 2 cups of crispy rice cereal to each bowl. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the colored marshmallow mixture.

Step 4: Put on food-safe gloves and lightly spray them with nonstick cooking spray. Shape each mixture into equal-sized balls. Change gloves between colors to keep the colors from mixing.

🍋 Simply Made Suggestions

  • Have everything measured and ready before you start. The marshmallow mixture begins to set fairly quickly.
  • If the mixture starts sticking to your hands, add another light coat of nonstick cooking spray to your gloves.
  • Don’t worry about making every eyeball perfectly round. They’re monsters—we can work with a little wonky. 👀
  • Use any combination of Halloween colors you like.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
