Caramel Peanut Butter Dessert Dip

Dive into this “Ooey Gooey” dessert dip. Made with peanut butter, caramel candies and a hint of spices, perfect for dipping fruit or as a topping for ice cream. Feel free to double dip, we won’t tell.

Ingredients:

  • apple juice
  • caramels (unwrapped)
  • vanilla extract
  • ground cardamom
  • ground cinnamon
  • creamy peanut butter
  • apple slices (packaged and pre-sliced) or 4-5 apples sliced into wedges

Step 1: In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the apple juice, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and peanut butter. Using a whisk or a fork mix the ingredients together.

Step 2: Pour mixture into the slow cooker and then place the unwrapped caramels into the slow cooker. Gently, stir ingredients together.

Step 3: Cover and set slow cooker to Low setting for 40-45 minutes, stirring often.

Step 4: Carefully using a spoon, place cooked dessert dip into a bowl and enjoy with apple slices!

*Makes approximately 1 cup.

*Caution- Dip and slow cooker will be hot!
