Caramel and Peanut Butter Dessert Dip
Dive into this "Ooey Gooey" dessert dip. Made with peanut butter, caramel candies and a hint of spices. It's perfect for dipping fruit or as a topping for ice cream!

Ingredients

Dessert Dip Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 14 caramels (unwrapped)
  • 1-1½ tsp vanilla extract
  • tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • cup creamy peanut butter

Optional Add-ons

  • 1-2 Tbsp Brandy liquor (optional)
  • 24 oz apple slices (packaged and pre-sliced) or (4-5 apples sliced into wedges)

Instructions

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the apple juice, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and peanut butter. Using a fork or a whisk mix the ingredients together.
  • Pour mixture into the slow cooker and then place the unwrapped caramels into the slow cooker. Gently, stir ingredients together.
  • Cover and set slow cooker to Low setting for 40-45 minutes, stirring often.
  • Using a spoon, place dip into a bowl and enjoy with apple slices!
    *Makes approximately 1 cup.
    *Caution- Dip and slow cooker will be hot!

Notes

  • Top cake or ice cream with dessert dip.
  • Add Brandy liquor for an alcohol version.
