Dessert Dip Ingredients
- 1 cup apple juice
- 14 caramels (unwrapped)
- 1-1½ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅔ cup creamy peanut butter
Optional Add-ons
- 1-2 Tbsp Brandy liquor (optional)
- 24 oz apple slices (packaged and pre-sliced) or (4-5 apples sliced into wedges)
In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the apple juice, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and peanut butter. Using a fork or a whisk mix the ingredients together.
Pour mixture into the slow cooker and then place the unwrapped caramels into the slow cooker. Gently, stir ingredients together.
Cover and set slow cooker to Low setting for 40-45 minutes, stirring often.
Using a spoon, place dip into a bowl and enjoy with apple slices!*Makes approximately 1 cup.*Caution- Dip and slow cooker will be hot!*Nutritional values are for the Dip only and do not include the nutritional value for the apples.
- Top cake or ice cream with dessert dip.
- Add Brandy liquor for an alcohol version.
