Pumpkin Dip

This sweet pumpkin dip is a definite crowd pleaser! Who doesn’t love pumpkin combined with cinnamon and sugar?! It can be served as a snack or appetizer at your fall get-together and also makes a great dessert! It only needs 5 ingredients, so when my kids request this, I’m happy to oblige!

  • Serves: 6-8

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg cream cheese
  • 1/2 can of pure pumpkin
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2-1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Step 1: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with a hand mixer on low for 30 seconds. Add powdered sugar and mix on medium for 30 seconds or until smooth and creamy. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula if needed.

Step 2: Add canned pumpkin to the sugar and cream cheese mixture. Mix on medium speed for a minute until smooth. Add cinnamon and nutmeg and mix on low speed then stir and scrape the bowl with a spatula to fully incorporate ingredients.

Step 3: Cover and refrigerate until ready to eat. Serve with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, apple slices, or ginger cookies. So yummy!

Tips:

  • Make sure you use pure pumpkin, NOT pumpkin pie filling.
  • I used reduced fat cream cheese, but original can be used as well.
  • For a large gathering, use 2 packages of cream cheese and entire can of pumpkin.

  • ½ can pure pumpkin (15 oz can)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (use up to 1 tsp)
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with a hand mixer on low for 30 seconds. Add the powdered sugar and mix on medium for 30 seconds or until smooth and creamy. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula if needed.
  • Add the canned pumpkin and mix on low for a minute until smooth. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg and mix on low speed then stir and scrape bowl to fully incorporate ingredients.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to eat. Serve with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, apple slices, or ginger cookies.

Notes

  • Make sure you use pure pumpkin, NOT pumpkin pie filling.
  • For a larger gathering, use 2 packages of cream cheese and entire can of pumpkin.

    This dip is so yummy! It took less than 5 min to throw together and everyone in the house asked for more. Definitely a keeper!
