Blueberry and Pineapple Margarita
(aka the “it’s hot and we’re absolutely making a drink” situation)
Some days call for water… this is not one of those days. This blueberry and pineapple margarita is cold, a little sweet, a little tart, and exactly what you want when it’s hot out, and you’re ready to sit down, relax, and pretend you don’t have a to-do list.
It’s got that classic margarita base—tequila, lime, and citrus—but with a fresh, fruity twist that makes it feel a little more fun and a lot more summer-ready.

Step-by-Step Directions:
Step 1: Begin by making the blueberry syrup.
Combine one cup of fresh or frozen blueberries, one cup of water, and one cup of sugar in a pot. Heat over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves, then remove from the burner.
Cool the syrup completely, then strain it into a container and refrigerate.
Step 2: Add tequila, pineapple juice, orange liqueur, lime juice, and blueberry syrup to a shaker with ice.
Step 3: Shake for about 10–15 seconds (no need to go full bartender here).
Step 4: Rim your glass with salt or sugar if you’re feeling fancy.
Step 5: Pour over ice and garnish with blueberries or a slice of pineapple- if you want to make it look like you planned ahead.
Done. Sit down. Enjoy.
