Equipment

  • cocktail shaker

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Blueberry simple syrup; see tips for the recipe
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz Orange Liqueur
  • fresh blueberries: garnish optional

Blueberry Syrup Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Make the Blueberry Simple Syrup.
    Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 5 seconds. Strain into a glass of ice and garnish with fresh blueberries or pineapple slices.
  • *For a mocktail version: Replace alcohol with lemon-lime soda or unflavored sparkling water.

Notes

    • Blueberry Syrup recipe: Combine one cup of fresh or frozen blueberries, one cup of water, and one cup of sugar in a pot and boil. Cool the syrup entirely before straining it into a container and refrigerating it.
    • For a mocktail version, replace alcohol with lemon-lime soda or unflavored sparkling water.
    • Cointreau can be substituted for Orange Liqueur.
    • Total time is 2 minutes when using pre-made Blueberry Simple Syrup.
