Ingredients:

  • Oreo cookies (one package)
  • full-fat cream cheese-room temperature
  • white chocolate (Ghirardelli White Vanilla melting wafers used)
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • festive sprinkles

Step 1: Place cookies into a food processor and pulse until cookies turn to crumbs. Place into a large mixing bowl.

Step 2: Place room-temperature cream cheese in the same bowl as the Oreo crumbs and blend together using an electric hand mixer until smooth.

Step 3: Using your hands, form bite-sized balls and place them onto a lined baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour. *If the mixture is too sticky to form balls, chill the Oreo and cream cheese mixture in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.

Melting Chocolate Instructions:

Step 4: Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe dish for 40 seconds, stirring between sessions. *When melting white chocolate, set the microwave to 50% power.

Decorating Instructions:

Step 5: Split the Oreo Balls into two batches, decorating half with white chocolate and the other half with semi-sweet chocolate.

Step 6: Using a fork in one hand, place one of the chilled Oreo Bites onto it. Using a spoon in the other hand, drizzle one of the melted white chocolate all over the Oreo Bite, covering it completely. *This can be messy, so do your best to cover the Oreo bite completely. Place back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Decorate with festive sprinkles immediately. Repeat with the rest of the half batch of Oreo Bites.

Step 7: Continue with the second batch of Oreo bites by repeating the decorating instructions with the melted semi-sweet chocolate chips. If desired, you can be creative and drizzle semi-sweet chocolate on top of the set white chocolate.

Step 6: Chill completed Oreo bites in the fridge for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to set before serving. Once the Oreo bites are set, they can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • 10 oz white chocolate (Ghirardelli White Vanilla melting wafers used)
  • 10 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (Ghirardelli brand used)

  • Place cookies into a food processor and pulse until cookies turn to crumbs. Place into a large mixing bowl.

  • Decorate half of the Oreo balls with white chocolate and the other half with semi-sweet chocolate. Using a fork in one hand, place one of the chilled Oreo balls onto the fork. Using a spoon in the other hand, drizzle the melted white chocolate all over the Oreo ball, covering it completely. This will be very messy at times, but do your best to cover the Oreo ball completely.
  • Place back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and immediately decorate with festive sprinkles. Repeat with the rest of the half batch of Oreo balls.
  • Continue with the second batch of Oreo balls by repeating the decorating instructions with the melted semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • If desired, you can be creative and drizzle semi-sweet chocolate on top of the set white chocolate.
  • Chill completed Oreo balls in the fridge for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to set before serving. Once the Oreo balls are set, they can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
