Merry Morning Oatmeal

This warm and comforting old-fashioned oatmeal breakfast is a beloved winter tradition in our home! Every Christmas morning, I love to wake up a little early and toss all the ingredients into the slow cooker. By the time everyone stirs awake, the delicious aroma fills the house and the oatmeal is perfectly ready to enjoy together!

Ingredients:

  • old fashioned rolled oats
  • dried cranberries
  • salt
  • cinnamon
  • milk
  • maple syrup-Birch Benders Keto sugar-free brand used
  • pecans-optional

Step 1: Place all of the ingredients into the slow cooker except for the pecans and gently mix together.

Step 2: Cover slow cooker and set to High setting for 2 hours or Low for 5 hours. Top with pecans and enjoy!

Tips-

  • Add dried apricots, coconut, cherries or blueberries.
  • Water can be substituted for milk
  • Use half milk and half water.
  • Top with walnuts or almonds.

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into the slow cooker except for the pecans and gently mix together.
