- 2-3 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 pkg. slow cooker pot roast seasoning mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- large rosemary sprig

Step-by-Step Directions:
Step 1: Sear the beef.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chuck roast on both sides until nicely browned.
Step 2: Add everything to the slow cooker.
Place the carrots and onions in the slow cooker and add the seared beef.
Step 3: Add the seasoning.
Combine the pot roast seasoning mix with 1 cup of water. Stir in a dash of Worcestershire sauce and pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables. Top with the rosemary sprig.
