Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of rolled oats or quick oats
  • 1¼ cups of peanut butter
  • ½ cup of maple syrup
  • ½ cup of vanilla protein powder
  • ¼-½ cup of mini M&M candies

Step-by-Step Directions:

Step 1: Add rolled oats, protein powder, peanut butter, maple syrup, and mini M&M candies to a large mixing bowl and combine.

Step 2: Using your hands, form 20-24 small balls of dough.

Step 3: Place them on a baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.

🍋 Simply Made Tips:

  • Place the energy bites in a sealable container and refrigerate them. They will keep for up to four weeks.
  • To freeze energy bites, place them in a freezer-safe ziplock bag and freeze them for up to 6 months.
  • For easier and workable nut butter, warm the peanut butter in a microwave safe dish for 10 second sessions for softened nut butter.
  • Try using almond or cashew butter.
  • Add more nut butter if the mixture is too dry.
