  • 2 cups of Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • ⅔ cups of milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp of almond extract
  • 1 cup of white frosting (store- bought)
  • ¼ of a cup sliced almonds (more or less)

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350º F. Spray an 8-inch square pan with a non-stick spray.

Step 2: Combine the Bisquick, sugar, milk, extract, and egg in a mixing bowl. Pour the batter into the greased square pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the edges are slightly browned, or until a toothpick comes out clean when placed in the center of the cake.

Step 3: Remove the cake from the oven and cool completely before frosting and garnishing with sliced almonds.
