Bring a taste of Hawaii to your kitchen with this easy huli huli sauce. Sweet, tangy, and packed with pineapple and soy sauce flavor, it’s perfect as a marinade, glaze, or dipping sauce for chicken, steak, or pork—especially when served with rice and grilled pineapple.

My husband lived in Hawaii as a kid and always loved this dish, so it already had a special place in our house. When we finally visited Maui a few years ago and I tasted it for myself, I knew I had to recreate it at home. Now it’s one of our go-to recipes when we want something easy with big flavor.

For a simple weeknight dinner, try it with our baked huli huli chicken for big flavor without the grill.
