Shredded Chicken Tacos
Make Taco Tuesdays a weekly tradition with this super simple crockpot recipe. This easy weeknight dinner is tasty and family friendly!

Ingredients:
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- diced green chiles-canned
- water
- pkg. chicken taco seasoning mix
- Optional toppings:
- Shredded lettuce
- Mexican cheese blend
- sour cream
- jar of salsa
- shredded cabbage
- hard or soft taco shells

Step 1: Place chicken breasts into the crockpot. Add diced green chiles, taco seasoning and water.
Step 2: Set crockpot for High 6 hours or on Low for 8 hours to cook.
Steps 3: After cooking, carefully shred cooked chicken with two forks.
*Caution- Chicken will be hot when shredding and removing from the crockpot.
Step 4: Serve shredded chicken over hard or soft taco shells and add toppings of choice.

- 1 Slow cooker
Ingredients
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz can of diced green chiles
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 package chicken taco seasoning
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts into crockpot. Add diced green chiles, taco seasoning and water.
- Set crockpot for high 6 hours or low for 8 hours.
- Carefully shred cooked chicken with two forks.
- Serve with hard or soft taco shells. Add toppings of choice. ie. sour cream, salsa, shredded cabbage, shredded lettuce, and Mexican blend cheese mix.
