Onion & Garlic Meatballs

These effortless meatballs can be made in 30 minutes. They can also be added to soups or sauces. Double the recipe to make quick hamburger patties. Serve with our Tomato and Onion Salad, for an easy weeknight meal.

Ingredients:

  • ground beef
  • onion
  • garlic
  • Italian seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper

Step 1: Add the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper and the Italian seasoning to a medium sized bowl. Using your hand, mix the ingredients together. Make 16-18 meatballs (1 1/2 inch approx.) and set aside. The recipe may make more or less depending on size. *Double the recipe if making hamburger patties. (Cooking time will vary)

Step 2: Set oven to 400º F. Next, heat a non-stick frying pan on the stove top to a medium- low heat setting. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches to brown. Brown each meatball on both sides for 1-2 minutes. Once browned, transfer to a lined baking sheet and set aside. Continue browning the rest of the meatballs.

Step 3: Place browned meatballs into the oven for 10-13 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink inside. Open one meatball to determine doneness.

*Caution-meatballs will be hot when transferring from pan to baking sheet and when removing from oven.
