Step 1: Add the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper and the Italian seasoning to a medium sized bowl. Using your hand, mix the ingredients together. Make 16-18 meatballs (1 1/2 inch approx.) and set aside. The recipe may make more or less depending on size. *Double the recipe if making hamburger patties. (Cooking time will vary)

Step 2: Set oven to 400º F. Next, heat a non-stick frying pan on the stove top to a medium- low heat setting. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches to brown. Brown each meatball on both sides for 1-2 minutes. Once browned, transfer to a lined baking sheet and set aside. Continue browning the rest of the meatballs.

Step 3: Place browned meatballs into the oven for 10-13 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink inside. Open one meatball to determine doneness.
*Caution-meatballs will be hot when transferring from pan to baking sheet and when removing from oven.

Made these last night! Instead of baking, I put them into a cast iron pan on medium low heat for a few minutes then flipped them. Turned out delicious!
