Easy Mixed Berry Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • frozen mixed berries
  • sugar 
  • lemon juice
  • box of white cake mix
  • butter
  • ground ginger

Step-by-Step Directions:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350º F and spray a 13×9 inch baking dish with non stick spray.

Step 2: Pour the frozen mixed berries into the dish and spread around evenly. Sprinkle the sugar and ginger over the berries. Squeeze the juice of a small lemon over the top.

Step 3: Evenly top with white cake mix. Cut pieces of butter, place them over the dry cake mix, and bake for 50-60 minutes. Halfway through, use a spoon to gently mix and incorporate any remaining dry cake mix with the melted butter. Bake until the cake layer is golden brown and the berries are bubbling around the edges of the baking dish. Cool for 10 minutes before serving. Top with ice cream and enjoy!
