Caprese Salad
A simple appetizer or side dish that is perfect to serve anytime of the year. This classic Italian dish that mirrors the colors of the Italian flag is made with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, olive oil and balsamic glaze, is sure to impress!

Ingredients:
- tomatoes
- fresh mozzarella cheese-sliced
- fresh basil leaves
- extra-virgin olive oil
- balsamic glaze
- salt and pepper

Step 1: Slice tomatoes
Step 2: Arrange tomatoes, sliced mozzarella cheese and basil leaves on a platter or board.
Step 3: Drizzle the olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle the balsamic glaze just before serving or omit.

- 3 ripe tomatoes sliced
- 13 oz fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
- fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
- 1 tsp balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)
