- 3 ripe tomatoes sliced
- 13 oz fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
- fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
- 1 tsp balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)
- salt and ground pepper to taste
Slice tomatoes. Then arrange or layer the tomatoes, pre-sliced mozzarella cheese and basil leaves on a platter or board. Drizzle the olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle the balsamic glaze just before serving or omit.
Variations and additional ingredients can be used for the salad.
