Equipment

  • Slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 6 lb semi-boneless fully cooked ham (preferably smoked)
  • white grape juice (or apple juice)
  • ¼ brown sugar
  • 1-1½ tbsp honey
  • 1-1½ Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 5 whole cloves

Instructions

  • Place ham into slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, place the juice, sugar, honey, cloves, and mustard and mix together. Pour over the ham.
  • Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 2-2½ hours, or until the ham is hot and warmed through. Spoon the juices over the ham every 30 minutes.
*The more significant the ham, the more cooking time is needed.
  • Carefully remove the ham from the slow cooker and place it on a platter to rest for 5 minutes, before slicing. Slice the ham and top with the reserved sauce from the slow cooker. Serve and enjoy!
    *Caution-Slow cooker will be hot!

Notes

  • Try using apple juice instead of white grape juice.
  • If using a bone in fully cooked brown sugar double-glazed ham, omit brown sugar.
