- 1 ciabatta roll
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 slices prosciutto (thinly sliced)
Begin by slicing your ciabatta roll down the middle with a bread knife. Warm your ciabatta roll using your preferred method. If you like it softer, warm it in the oven at 300º F for a couple of minutes (you can also warm the roll in the oven before you slice it for an even softer center). I prefer mine to be crunchier so I either toast them in a toaster oven or air fry them at 380º F for about 3 minutes.
Drizzle the cut side of each toasted roll half with the tablespoon of olive oil. Layer 2 slices of prosciutto onto the bottom half, cover with the top half and slice from one corner to the other making 2 triangles. The heated bread will warm the olive oil and prosciutto. Yum!
- It's best to assemble these immediately so that heat from the bread can warm the prosciutto a little. It's so thin, so it doesn't take much.
