- 2-3 lb. beef chuck roast
- 1 cup baby carrots
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 pkg. slow cooker pot roast seasoning mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
Place olive oil in a skillet. Sear beef on both sides on a medium-high heat setting.
Place vegetables and seared beef in the slow cooker. Add 1 cup of water to the seasoning mix and combine. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the vegetables and beef. Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours. *Caution—the slow cooker will be hot!
- Slow cookers vary in temperature. Beef is done when it easily falls apart.
