This easy Sour Apple Margarita recipe is sweet, tart, and refreshing with tequila, sour apple liqueur, fresh lime juice, and a bright green color that's perfect for any party.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • ounces sour apple schnapps
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce unflavored sparkling water
  • Ice, for serving
  • 2 lime wedges one for the rim and one for the cocktail)
  • Coarse salt or sugar for the rim optional
  • Green apple slices for garnish

Instructions

  • If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim into a small plate of coarse salt or sugar until evenly coated.
  • Fill the prepared glass with ice. Add the tequila, sour apple schnapps, pineapple juice and juice from one lime wedge. Stir gently to combine.
  • Top with sparkling water and garnish with green apple slices. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • The nutritional values do not include slices of green apple used as garnish.
