- 2 lbs ground turkey
- ½ cup finely chopped red onion
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ¼-½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ cup mint leaves (minced)
- ¼ cup store-bought Tzatziki sauce
Garnish Ingredients:
- mixed greens
- tomatoes (Sliced)
- red onions (Sliced)
- Extra crumbled feta cheese
- Tzatziki sauce (store-bought)
- 8 hamburger buns
Combine ground turkey, diced red onion, chopped parsley, savory Tzatziki, minced garlic, crumbled feta, salt, and the rest of the seasonings in a mixing bowl. Use your hands or a fork to mix everything well! Shape the mixture into eight big, flat patties. Remember, they’ll be a bit delicate, so handle them gently.
Preheat your grill pan, cast-iron skillet, or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the pan is heated, place the turkey burgers onto it and cook the patties on each side for about 5-7 minutes, ensuring they reach a perfect internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking times may vary for thicker burgers.
Layer some fresh mixed greens on the bottom of each hamburger bun. Add your juicy patties, then pile on ripe tomatoes, sliced red onions, creamy tzatziki sauce, and crumbled feta cheese. Serve alongside one of our lovely side dishes!
