Chocolate Protein Coffee

This Chocolate Protein Coffee is an easy way to boost your protein intake and get a quick "pick me up" at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp chocolate protein powder (we like Vital Proteins brand)
  • 8-10 oz. brewed black coffee

Optional:

  • sweetener (to taste)
  • 2-3 Tbsp half and half

Instructions

  • Add protein powder and sweetener, if using, to a mug. Pour in about 2 ounces of coffee and mix thoroughly with a frother or whisk.
  • Pour in remaining coffee and desired amount of half and half, then froth again. Enjoy!

Notes

  • This protein coffee drink is best enjoyed immediately since the powder will settle towards the bottom if left to sit.
  • Milk can also be used in place of the half and half.
  • Not a chocolate fan? Try vanilla instead!
