- 8-12 oz frozen blueberries
- 20 buttermilk biscuits (2 cans - 10 ct-7.5 oz)
- ¾ cup butter (melted)
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream (more or less)
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp lemon zest
Place those biscuits in a greased 9x9 baking dish, filling any little gaps with leftover dough. Then, generously pour the heavy whipping cream over them, covering the biscuits halfway for a sweet treat!
Mix the melted butter, ground cinnamon, and light brown sugar and pour all over the biscuits.
Top with frozen blueberries and bake at 350º F for 20 minutes covered, then 20-25 minutes uncovered until the biscuits are beautifully golden. Let them cool completely before adding the icing for a delightful finish!
Prepare the icing by mixing the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Drizzle it over your cooled baked biscuits, add additional zest, and savor every bite! Enjoy!
