- 2 cans of cinnamon rolls with icing (16 count)
- 21 oz Apple Pie Filling (large can)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp butter (melted)
- ½ Tbsp ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish. Arrange the cinnamon rolls in the dish and set both containers of icing aside. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
Transfer one container of icing to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 20–30 seconds, or until melted and pourable.
In a large bowl, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, brown sugar, salt, melted butter and warmed icing. Spoon the apple mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
Cover the baking dish and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the cover and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes. Because ovens vary, check the center rolls before removing the dish from the oven. They should be fully baked and no longer doughy.
Let the cinnamon roll bake cool for 5–10 minutes. Warm the remaining container of icing for a few seconds, then drizzle it over the top and serve.
