Minced Herbs
If you’re not sure how to properly chop, dice and mince, we’re here to help! Some terms can be confusing and unfamiliar if you’ve never cooked before. This is the easiest way to mince herbs like mint, rosemary, basil and any other herbs.
Step 1: If mincing basil, mint or other leafy types of herbs, separate leaves from the stem. If mincing herbs such as rosemary, hold your thumb and finger at the thickest part of the stem and using your other hand, run it down the stem quickly separating the rosemary from the stem.
Step 2: Gather the leaves together and roll tightly. Carefully hold the roll of herbs, keeping your fingers clear of the knife and cut into small pieces.
