Equipment

  • large pitcher
  • Halloween themed glasses
  • cocktail muddler or wooden spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry-pomegranate juice blend (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup black cherry juice
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 2 cups black grapes
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • 2-3 oz lemon soda (for topping)
  • ice

Garnish:

  • fresh black grapes
  • fresh blueberries or blackberries
  • figs

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, add the fresh blueberries, blackberries, and grapes. Muddle or crush the fruit together until it is fully broken down using a tool called a cocktail muddler. A rolling pin, a wooden spoon handle, or the back of a fork can also be used to gently press and twist the fruit, releasing juices and infusing flavor into the drink.
  • Add in the cranberry-pomegranate juice blend, the black cherry juice, and the maple syrup, and stir until well combined.
  •  To make mocktails, fill Halloween themed glasses with ice and add the mocktail liquid/muddled fruit mixture until they are three-quarters full. Top the glasses with lemon soda. For a fun twist, garnish with some fresh blackberries, blueberries, or black grapes. If you’re feeling extra festive, you can even add some edible eyeballs, spiders, or other decorations. Just repeat the process for each serving.
