Spiced Mulled Wine
Cozy up this winter with a warm glass of our Spiced Mulled Wine!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • cups boiling water
  • ½ a lemon (sliced thin)
  • 3 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 bottle red wine (claret or burgundy)
  • rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil water in a pot. Once the water is boiling, add sugar into the pot and dissolve it. Add the remaining ingredients and turn off the heat.
  • Pour into slow cooker and set on Low heat for at least 1 hour, or until wine is hot. *Do not boil. Serve from slow cooker into glass mugs and garnish with a sprig of rosemary. Enjoy!
    *Caution- Boiling water in a pot and mulled wine in the slow cooker will be hot!
