Equipment

  • Donut mold pan
  • large bowl

Ingredients

  • 13.23 oz package spice cake mix
  • 15 oz can of pumpkin puree
  • 16 oz cream cheese icing

Instructions

  • Set oven to 350º F. Spray donut molds with non-stick spray. Using a large bowl, mix cake mix and pumpkin puree together.
  • Spoon or pipe the batter into the greased donut pan. The batter should make approximately 10–12 donuts. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the tops spring back when lightly pressed with a finger. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before carefully transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Warm frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then dip cooled donuts in the frosting and return to the rack. Decorate with sprinkles if desired. *Caution-donuts will be hot when removing from the oven.
