- 1 box Devil's Food Cake mix
- 15 oz pumpkin (canned)
- 1 can of white frosting
- green, purple, and gold sprinkles (for decorating)
- non-stick spray
Set oven to 350º F and lightly spray donut molds with non-stick spray. Using an electric mixer, combine the cake mix and the pumpkin puree.
Spoon batter into a greased donut pan. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the batter springs back when lightly pressed with a finger. Let the donuts cool slightly before moving to a wire rack to cool.
Warm the frosting in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Dip one donut at a time into the frosting and immediately decorate it with Mardi Gras-inspired sprinkles. Continue with the rest of the donuts.
Caution: Donuts will be hot when removed from oven.
