Coconut and Honey Margarita

You'll absolutely adore this delightful margarita its exotic coconut flavor paired with the sweetness of honey makes it your new go-to poolside cocktail!

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker

Ingredients

  • oz Coconut Tequila (Regular Tequila can be used)
  • oz Honey syrup (see tips for the recipe)
  • 1.5 oz coconut cream (canned)
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz Orange Liqueur
  • honeycomb (ganish; optional)

Instructions

  • Make the honey Syrup: Combine 1-1½ tablespoons of honey and 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water. Pour the ingredients into a jar with a lid and shake them together.
    Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 5 seconds. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with a piece of honeycomb.
  • *For a mocktail version: Replace alcohol with lemon-lime soda.
    *Nutritional values do not include the garnish of honeycomb.

Notes

    • Honey Syrup recipe:
        • Combine 1-1½ tablespoon of honey and 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water. Pour the ingredients into a jar with a lid and shake them together.
        • Regular Tequila can be used in this recipe.
        • For a Mocktail version, replace alcohol with lemon-lime soda.
