Chocolate Frosted Sprinkle Donuts

Equipment

  • Donut mold pan
  • large bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Devil's Food cake mix
  • 15 oz can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 can chocolate fudge frosting
  • rainbow sprinkles (optional)
  • non-stick spray

Instructions

  • Set the Oven to 350º F and spray the donut molds with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix and pumpkin puree.
  • Spoon donut batter into a greased donut pan (batter makes 10-12 donuts). Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the batter springs back when lightly pressed with a finger. Let the donuts cool slightly before moving to a wire rack to cool.
  • Warm the frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds. Dip the cooled donuts in the warmed frosting and return to a rack or plate. Decorate it with sprinkles and enjoy!
    *Caution: Donuts will be hot when removed from oven.
