Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Mushrooms and Carrots
This 6 ingredient slow cooker pot roast is one hearty meal that will satisfy a hungry crowd. Serve over mashed potatoes for the ultimate comfort meal!

Ingredients:
- round roast or chuck roast
- *McCormick slow cooker seasoning mix
- baby carrots
- white or brown button mushrooms
- onion
- rosemary sprigs- optional

Step 1: Roughly chop the onion into large pieces and place into the slow cooker.
Step 2: Place the mushrooms and the carrots on top of the onions in the slow cooker.
Step 3: Place the beef and rosemary sprigs into the slow cooker.
Step 4: Mix the *McCormick seasoning mix with 1 cup of water and pour over the beef. Cover and set on LOW temperature for 7-8 hours.
Step 5: Serve pot roast with one of our side dishes:
*Caution: Slow cooker with be hot while cooking and when removing lid.

- pkg. *McCormick slow cooker seasoning mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 lb baby carrots
- 1 lb white or brown button mushrooms (whole or sliced)
- 1 onion (large)
- rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- Roughly chop the onion into large pieces and place into the slow cooker.
- Place the mushrooms and the carrots on top of the onions in the slow cooker.
- Place the beef and rosemary sprigs into the slow cooker.
- Mix the *McCormick seasoning mix with 1 cup of water and pour over the beef. Cover and set on LOW temperature for 7-8 hours.
- Serve along side mashed potatoes!
