Charcuterie Roses
We love a good charcuterie board around here! Making roses from deli meat is an easy way to add some elegance to your board. Your guests will be so impressed! Follow our simple tutorial below.
Ingredients:
- deli meat such as salami or pepperoni
- a champagne flute or thin glass to build your flower
Step 1: Place a piece of deli meat over the rim of the glass leaving equal lengths hanging over each side. Add 2 more slices, slightly overlapping each other until you’ve covered the rim.
Step 2: Continue building layers, offsetting them from the lower row, using 3 overlapping pieces for each row. Depending on the thickness of your meat, you might need 15-21 pieces to make 5-7 layers.
Step 3: You’ll know you’re done when you run out of room in the center of your glass. Flip the glass upside down and carefully remove it from your beautiful and delicious charcuterie rose!
Tips:
- 1/3 pound of sliced deli meat will make approximately 2 roses.
